Our Story

A nonprofit professional and certified yogi met a product development engineer who runs marathons—and they quickly fell head over heels. Bonding over their shared passions for fitness, healthy living, and making a difference, they blended their lives, their values, and their families: five kids (ages 5 to 15 at the time), two dogs, and a cat—right here in Monmouth County.

Between school pickups, sports practices, and weekend tournaments, they noticed a recurring problem: kids (and adults) are always hungry—and on the go, healthy options are limited. Fast food, vending filled with junk, and sugar-loaded snacks seemed to be the quickest - and sometimes only! - choices.

This solutions-oriented couple saw an opportunity to change that. What if there were healthy, convenient food and snack options in high-traffic spaces where nutritious choices are usually an afterthought? From local YMCAs and soccer fields to office buildings and car dealership service lounges, the need was everywhere.

That's when ZenVend was born—child #6 in their modern-day, wellness-focused family. They grew the brand together from the ground up, combining their expertise in business, technology, health, and social impact to create a mission-driven vending solution that fuels people—and gives back.
